Experimental Music & Digital Media Concentration

The Experimental Music & Digital Media (EM/DM) program addresses the emerging understanding that technology, computation and digital resources are profoundly changing the way in which we compose, perform, study and teach music. EM/ DM builds off this premise and engages students and faculty in cutting-edge research that borders between computer science, engineering, art, design and music. EM/DM is closely aligned with the Arts, Visualization, Advanced Technologies and Research (AVATAR) Initiative of the Center for Computation & Technology (CCT) at LSU.

The Experimental Music & Digital Media program is a doctoral level program.
