Undergraduate Suggested Repertoire
Audition Information

The requirements listed below are for students who intend to major in music. Students who wish to minor in music or to study as a non-major must audition and should contact the appropriate faculty member.

Auditionees in all areas may be asked to sight-read a short selection. All students should contact the individual faculty member for more detailed audition repertoire information. Accompanists are not necessary for instrumental auditions. Voice auditions will have accompanists provided, though you may bring your own if you choose.

You may also want to submit repertoire lists and letters of reference from private teachers if applicable. Some areas encourage an interview with the appropriate faculty member and/or an essay describing your musical aspirations. Please contact the individual teacher if you have any questions about the audition process or repertoire.
