Evelyn Orman
Evelyn Orman (Associate Professor of Music Education). Orman teaches courses in music technology and instrumental music. She received the Bachelor of Music Education degree from Murray State University, the Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida and the Education Doctorate from The University of Alabama. She was a public school band director from 1985 to 1993 in Tennessee and central Florida. Orman has served as a faculty member at the University of West Alabama and George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Even though her research interests are varied, her principal focus involves the enhancement of music education through the use of computer technology. She has presented research at regional and national conferences and has published in music education journals.
