He has been awarded two research stipends to study manuscript materials in the Igor Stravinsky Collection at the Paul Sacher Foundation in Basel, Switzerland (1996, 2002), and during a sabbatical leave, he made a third visit in 2004. He is currently working on a book on Stravinsky's sketches.
